Since apples contain lots of pectin, kalium and polyphenol, it is said that they are effective in preventing lifestyle-related disease, hypertension, etc. “Shusei” is an Ishikawa original apple characterized by its largeness and beautiful red color. It is cultivated in the apple production areas in Ishikawa Prefecture, including Kanazawa and Suzu cities. It is popular with the people of Ishikawa due to its well-balanced sweetness and sourness, and rich flavor.
