These pears are characterized by their juiciness and refreshing sweetness. We can enjoy delicious pears with a variety of tastes over a long period, from summer to fall. The pear types include Shinsui, Kosui, Hosui, Nijuseiki, Nansui, Akizuki and Niitaka. The Kaga-shizuku breed was developed by Ishikawa Prefecture to meet the needs of the recent trend of sweeter and larger pears being favored, and they have become a popular breed.
